Dixie Jet Service, Inc. dba Atlanta East Aviation was purchased by its current shareholder in November, 2001. Since that time the company has moved from two trailers to our new 19000 square foot hangar office building. The aircraft population has grown from about 30 aircraft with 4200' of runway in 2001 to nearly 100 aircraft today with 5500'. In addition to the new FBO hangar/offices, the company has added self-serve JetA and AvGas, single point refueling, pilot's lounge, computerized flight planning & weather briefing, Hertz Car Rental, crew courtesy vehicles, spacious reception area and passenger lounge. Our tenant-customers include Standridge Color Corporation, Omniflight Helicopters (Rescue Air 1), maintenance management for 18 aircraft of the Civil Air Patrol, Covington Aviation
Our 5500' runway can accommodate your largest executive jet or smallest single engine piston.
Please consider Atlanta East Aviation's Technical Services Department for your next annual or 100 hour inspection. Our Aircraft Technical Services Department can accommodate anything from single engine pistons to larger turbo-prop or turbine twins.
